Features and constraints: the project was critical to determine roles and responsibilities of the players vs the client companies.  Several bodies are operating on the Chinese market but only few players are widely spread as well as accredited by CNAS (China National Accreditation Service), the local certification authority.

Development plan:
the first part of the project was to screen the Chinese market to identify all companies accredited by the CNAS (China National Accreditation Service) that can be utilized for the service. Few companies were shortlisted according to the client’s criteria and a deep analysis was made to determine the adherence to those criteria and requirements. The final 4 companies were then approached and contacted to understand a possible partnership among equals acceptance. A basic MOU and a pre-contract draft were prepared and negotiated with the final selected 2 companies. The final contract has been then signed between the European and the Chinese certification bodies and activities started already in 2016.

In addition, Koinè was involved via providing post-contract support for the first audits done within the China territory.

Project:
our client needed to extend the offer to ISO certificated companies and for those clients with global presence already in the client’s portfolio, especially in the China territory. A strong accredited partner with local presence in several areas of the Chinese territory was to be found to provide ISO audits and locally valid Chinese ISO certificates.

CASE 3 - European Certification Co.: search for qualified and accredited partners in Asia supporting European companies to obtain local valid ISO certificates. Shortlisted few partners in Singapore and China. Signed the final commercial contract with a Chinese partner.
